Lesson:
The apostles have been ordinary, everyday folks. I doubt that people saw anything specific when passing them on the street. Outwardly these types of men didn't appear special. What made them special was that which was on the inside; something individuals couldn't see. I've got 4 eggs below, each with something inside. Let's look at each and see if we can easily figure out what made them stand out and what can make you unique as well.
(Open the first egg.) Here we use a sticker. Stickers are bright and colourful and when you put them on something, they hold fast. Giving a vivid, colorful sticker to a person can be a real confidence to them and help lighten up their day. A true good friend is someone who twigs by you no matter what and contains a way of brightening your entire day. By the time you get to it of Acts, you see the disciples caught by each other along with encouraged each other.
(Available the second egg.) Listed here is a rock; but this 1 isn't an ordinary one. It's a polished good ole'. Normally, rocks are rough, but they can be polished and made easy like this one. It takes time and energy to polish one, however when it's done, it helps make it special. An authentic friend is someone that accepts you as you are, but also helps to allow you to better. They do that will by letting you know when you find yourself starting to mess up, simply by encouraging you to carry out right things, through helping you to think of other people ahead of yourself. An authentic friend can help to shine you and make you into a better person.
(Open the third egg.) This has a piece of towel in it. This jogs my memory of a cleaning cloth that a servant would likely use. A true pal is one who will serve others and applies them first. Service starts in your heart as a desire to help others and demonstrates in your actions. You'll be able to serve others when you're kind to them, helping them when they need assistance, or saying a good word to them if they are down. The disciples served people regularly.
(Open the fourth eggs.) A nail. The lord is the best friend everyone can ever have. The Somebody says that he is a friend that sticks nearer than a brother. Nevertheless, some wicked guys nailed Jesus to the mix to pay for our sins. If you have a friend which doesn't know Jesus as Savior, their greatest need is to be rescued from their sin. You can help to meet that require by telling them regarding Jesus. The disciples went all over the place showing people about Dinosaur.
What do these 4 things have in common? They all come from a cardiovascular that is in love with Jesus and has his love for other people. James 1:25 tells us to be doers of the word and not hearers merely. If you're in love with Dinosaur and have his love for other people, you will be a doer and after that God can use you to definitely meet a need in a friend's life. - surprise toys
